It’s family. It’s friends. It’s cooking dockside. It’s drinking coffee as the sun rises, and a cold one as it sets.
For some of us, it’s the Dock Days of Summer. For others, it’s year ’round (except for the snow). But for all of us, it’s something special.
Pirate Cove Marina is a family owned and operated marina which has been in business since 1994. We have over 14 acres of fun and we pride ourselves on having a clean, family friendly facility.
Many changes and improvements have been made over the years to add to the enjoyment of our guests. We have an in-ground heated pool, two very clean washroom buildings with showers.
There are five large service bays which can accommodate cruisers up to 53’ and a 40’x80’ heated showroom where you can view the latest in pontoons, fishing boats, and runabouts. We have factory trained technicians to maintain and service all your boat needs. Our fuel dock sells gas and diesel and we also have a pumpout facility. Why go anywhere else when there is so much that Pirate Cove Marina has to offer?

The “Jewel of the Rideau” is one of Ottawa’s best kept secrets. Pirate Cove Marina is located in a sheltered cove to protect you from the main channel of the Rideau River.
SALTWATER POOL
We are located midway between the locks at Burritts Rapids and the Long Island locks near Manotick. This is the longest stretch of water on the Rideau system that is uninterrupted by locks. There are clean showers and washrooms available for all our guests. Come play horseshoes, then take a dip in our heated saltwater swimming pool.
DOCKAGE & PICNIC AREA
Our 83 forty foot docks have running water and hydro with 30 amp service and a large picnic area for your convenience. We have 12 twenty foot unserviced docks for boats 21 feet and under. Transient boaters are always welcome. For groups traveling together we suggest you call ahead to reserve your spot for the night. A launch ramp is also available for your convenience.
GAS DOCK
For boats 23 ft and under you can acquire a season pass for unlimited launching. Secure on-land storage is also available for boats on trailers. We have gas and diesel, so stop by for a fill up or take advantage of our pump out service. The Gas Dock also sells ice for those warm days on the water.
